Expensive but a great set of tools.

If you need these tools, it is hard to find a more complete set elsewhere. It will take a while to learn them because there are so many things they can do, but the programs are reasonably stable and amazingly powerful.

Pros

It's hard not to love all the programs in the Autodesk Media and Entertainment Collection. I use Maya, Arnold, and Motion builder the most but have dabbled with Recap as well. The collection is a great suite of tools for 3D work providing capabilities in photogrammetry to 3D Modelling and rendering. Motion Builder alone is a fantastic tool for taking mocap data and applying it to characters. Quite simply, it has some of the most full-featured cleanup tools I have ever used, and in Story mode the blending between motions is exceptional. Of course, Studio Max and Maya are industry staples for the gaming and film industry so there is something for everyone. Mudbox and Maya and MotionBuilder are industry standard tools.

Cons

he price is high. They should give you the option not to get Studio Max and Maya and instead pick one. Those two programs are redundant and do almost the same thing. It doesn't make sense that you have to pay for both in your subscription. I prefer the buy-and-use-forever model to the subscription-based plans.

Autodesk Sketchbook's User-Friendly and Creative Program

I am drawing comics and sketching diagrams for my lab classes. The range of tools provided with this software has helped me better do these things.

Pros

I like the ease of use, especially in the brushes and in the app itself. It's affordable compared to other drawing software. I especially enjoy using the symmetry and predictive stroke features because this makes my designs look more professional.

Cons

I would like the ease of use to be improved on a phone and for the transfer between the Mac and iPad to be improved. I stopped using this software in favor of Procreate on the iPad and phone, but I may go back to using this software on my computer in the future.

Media Editing KIKS on Entertainment Action

Making 3d Stages and graphical inputs on live streaming. Started getting good new new clients.

Pros

We as entertainment agencies, help our team to build and add any 3d content on our virtual action made easy and on-time delivery.

Cons

We got a new system for this, since our old system graphic card doesn't help to render fast.. and especially required mac screen to get the correct color code

Pioneer in animation

I would recommend using Autodesk Media software since they are pretty stable, and many tutorials are available online

Pros

I like products of Autodesk for animation purposes like 3ds Max, Maya and Mudbox

Cons

Their complex product features require a lot of training.

Includes a Powerful Set of Tools that Animator Should Have

If you are a graphic company which, by the way, can afford this product, I am certainly recommending this product to go with rather than similar products in the category. Even though it is quite expensive, I assure you that it will prove to be as every bit worthwhile as any software you have in your possession. Its wide array of sub products all have comprehensive documentation that is bound to solve most of the problems you get either on configurations or on product use. Even if it does not provide with a solution, its readily available technical support staff will be delighted to walk you through any complications or requirements you face.

Pros

For sometime we had the problem of finding a product which can cover all the areas of graphic designing such as the basic from drawing and sketching to 3D modeling and painting as well as rendering and simulation. After extensive research we found that the tools provided by the Autodesk Media & Entertainment Collection exceeds expectations. We went with the monthly subscription first to see whether it supports our requirements properly and felt that is actually provides all the services we need without fail.

Cons

Technically there is yet to find a dislike. But considering the financial aspect, it is quite expensive to bear for a small company.
