Makes using template documents easy

It does take some getting use to. There are some different features than regular Word, so I'd recommend having someone who knows what they're doing show you the ropes the first couple times you use it.

We use WordPerfect to make template documents that are then edited for individual clients' needs.

Pros

The best feature is using the Macros to shortcut editing. I use this feature, literally every day.

Cons

Sometimes spacing can be difficult. You have to go into the area at the bottom for the easiest editing.

If it's not broken, don't fix it

Definitely a great asset to any business utilizing word processing on a daily basis.

Pros

I love that ease of use I have with WP. Formatting, editing and creating documents is simple, straight forward and user friendly. I have found that other programs seem to add unnecessary steps to do the simplest of tasks. It seems with each software's newest version more and more tasks become cumbersome and inefficient. WP does not do that. Any new features are well thought out and contribute to the user friendliness we have come to expect from WP. For the features that work well, they leave them alone. That is the bottom line for me. Other companies should take note that users do not want software to be difficult. Although it creates the illusion of being cutting edge all it really does is waste time and inflate costs.

Cons

Time needed to learn macros. There is really nothing else I dislike about this product.
